Lil, this is for you.. haha.

Here i am, checking out the New Majestic Hotel on Vday. It was kinda a last min thing as i only booked their room 2 days before Vday and thus i only managed to get one of their standard rooms. Guess im still quite hectic during that time and so i didnt plan well enough. Luckily, i still enjoyed the day though...Checking in is at 3pm, surprisingly, im the only one checking in at that time, given that i was told the hotel is fully booked for the day. ?? NMH is an old shophouse building along the 'red-light' street in Chinatown back in the olden days. I was told that this building is about 80+ years old, one thing i like is that although they have fully renovated the whole shophouse into the hip-est hotel, they managed to restore the original state of the ceiling, as seen in the lobby.



The room i got is rm 313. Oh, did i mention that all the 30 rooms in this hotel, are all specially designed by 6 well-known designers? Well, no 2 rooms have the same design. The room i got is called 'Hey Diddle Diddle', supposely taken from the childhood nursery rhyme. What i like about the room? The bed, the big plasma tv and the shower head! haha..





Had my dinner at the famous Singapore Heritage Restaurant by the 'Porridge King' (www.porridgeking.com) and since it was only a few days before CNY, the streets of Chinatown is full of crowds. I did my fair bit of shopping, buying some new year decorations and delicacies.

Walking thru the streets, it is like going back to the olden days, imagine myself, wearing a cheongsam, doing shopping on the 'car-free' street. haha..

Overall, i enjoyed my stay here and can't wait to try out their other rooms as well.. =)

A little gossip here (=P) : while i was checking out the following day, i saw Adam Chen checking out too. And the girl with him is definitely not Xu Mei Zhen!

First of all, Happy CNY to all~

Haven't been blogging much (had promise lil that i will post my Vday pics...opps!) since im so busy settling my transition to a new company and all the new year preparations. Actually, i wanted to blog about how mad i am towards the management ppl, on how cunning and scheming they are in telling the whole company the white lies.. Really, they can tell lies without battling their eyelids. Anyway, shall avoid spoiling the whole festive mood and i should carry on with my new year celebrations!

I have tolerated you for 2 yrs and this time, it really proves that you are totally not worth it. I have decided to leave now, for good. Time and again, you have show me how ruthless you can get and how can i let myself to stay on if i know that, in a matter of time, i will see you doing it again... You have betrayed my trust and hope towards you and i really do hope that, this time, you will at least know your mistake and please, learn from it.

Gone were the days of 'family' happiness~

Gone were the days that i can truely and proudly declared myself as one of us!
Although i have lost out in many ways after fighting this "war", one thing i've won is the 'once-in-a-life-time experience and i have to thank you for that. Thanks to you for letting me have the chance to know that in this working society, things can get real dirty and scheming.

Having said that, i can, finally sleep well tonight... To my friends, you guys really have to bear with me thru this difficult period of mine. Love you all!

Fun and fulfiling day...

I made a trip down to IKEA today to get stuffs to refurnish my messy bedroom. IKEA is always my fav store to get cheap and nice furnitures and deco stuffs. Not forgetting the cafe over there, selling tasty meatballs and mushroom soup! Yum!

Not forgetting to take some pictures while shopping.. haha..

Have to meet the girls for KTV session in the evening... Wouldnt be able to make it on time if my Dad didnt pick me up at IKEA and send me there straight. Thanks Dad! =)


This KTV session was planned by Eileen's sis, for us to get to know her gf, Joey. As we have to be the bridesmaids for her sister's wedding this coming oct, we have to get to know each other first... Glad that joey is easy to talk to..

New Asia Bar

Morning meeting follow by lunch appointment... Was abit blown off by the morning meeting as my boss started talking about having new set of regimen to follow and sales targets. Kinda stressed out after tat.. This was followed by lunch - which i had lost my appetite by then even though my lunch was the famous slice fish noodle soup at Maxwell Market.

Decided to meet up with lilian after that for a catch-up session.. We head down to the 'New Asia Bar' at the swissottel @ Raffles city. It was 71-storey high and the view is awesome! But i bet it will be much more better if we had come in the evening where there will be a stary night. Anyway, this place is nice to chill out with friends over drinks. Not the kind of loud music, dancing floor kind, but more for chilling out and chatting sessions.


Next, i want to try the Equinox, which is a floor below New Asia Bar! Who wants to go with me? =P
